She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Gobber and Emma Gobber (Oestmann); her husband Eugene Gottula; her parents-in-law, Bus and Elva Gottula; her siblings, Raymond (Norma), Orville, Robert "Bob" Gobber and Eldonna Forrest (Lyle); her nephews, Kent and Cary Gobber; her great-nephew Erik Veburg; and her brother-in-law Stan Gottula.

She is survived by: her son Alan Gottula (Sandra Parker) of Elk Creek; her grandson John Gottula of Fuguay-Varina; her great grandchild Chloe Mirabelle Gottula; and her sisters-in-law, Vicky Gobber of Gretna, Erma Gobber of Manhattan, KS and Shirley Gottula of Merna. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (71955 NE-50, Elk Creek, NE 68348).
