She was predeceased by : her parents, Jim Beers and Edna Beers (Lagemann); her husband Dale L. Mason; her brother Donald; and her siblings-in-law, Alan Stubbendick, Lynn Wilhelm, Laverne Fritsch, Gene Mason, Stan Manske and Ella Mae Mason-Manske.

She is survived by : her sons, Randy Mason (Nikki) of Pawnee City, Tim Mason (Diane Ackerman) of Douglas and Chris Mason (Renae) of Adams; her grandchildren, Shelby Petrzilka (Daryle) of Waverly, Amber Stutzman (Garett) of Seward, Brooke Barr (Daniel) of Liberty, Connor Mason (Caylee) of Filley, Cassidy Mason (Brittain Timms) of Greenwood and Abby Hovendick (Heath) of Beatrice; her great grandchildren, Declan Petrzilka and Noah Stutzman; her sisters, Gerri Stubbendick of Avoca and Beverly Bjork (Chuck) of Unadilla; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Beers of Lincoln, Shirley Fritsch of Tecumseh, Ivan and Myrna Mason of Auburn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

“I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Ima Gene Mason. My name is Nelwyn Hebert from New Iberia, LA and I am a friend of Sara Hamsa. I met Ima Gene a few times when she was visiting Sara in the Lafayette area. I would see her on Face Time with the multi -state gang (Texas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Minnesota, and North Dakota). She always had a smile and we enjoyed hearing about her adventures. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.”
