Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack D. Yates and Joan Yates (Gardner); and his siblings, Jack Yates, Jr. and Cindy Bowersmith. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth and Billie; his siblings, Jim Yates, Sheila Yates-Vuu and Chris Yates (Judy Ellis); and his brother-in-law Dale Bowersmith. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
