He was predeceased by: his parents, William Speckmann and Lillian Speckmann (Branek); his brother Alvin Speckmann; and his stepfather Alvin Bray. He is survived by: his daughter Kristine Renae (Matthew); his wife Linda Bailey; his son John Speckmann (Jana Kendall); his grandchildren, Koty Risser (Brad), Sara Putz, Billy Speckmann (Casey), William, Bree Ann and James Speckmann; his great grandchildren, Eliza Marshall, Ruby Hunter and Aiden Park; and his sister-in-law Vera Speckmann Ebeler (Ron). He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (186 N 5th St, Tecumseh, NE 68450).
