It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pamela Plager (Tecumseh, Nebraska), who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvil Lade and JoAnne Lade (Tucker); her husband Gene Plager; her granddaughter Kayla Anne Stevens; her brother David Lade; her brother-in-law Dan Sears; and her mother-in-law Vera Plager (Bohling).
She is survived by: her children, Lesley Slaymaker, Lisa Stevens (John) of Kearney, Joel Kerner of Lincoln and Russell Plager (Tiffany) of Wayne; her grandchildren, Kaleb, Brooklyn, Evan Slaymaker, Tyler Stevens, Thomas, Nolan, Jenna and Reid Plager; her siblings, Linda (Brad Meints) of Tecumseh, Steve (Mary Lade) of Tecumseh, Susie (Jim Hill) of Tecumseh, Sarah Sears of Tecumseh, Les Lade of Tecumseh, Ron (Shirley Lade) of Tecumseh, Bruce of Tecumseh and Christy Lade (Mitchell Howard) of Tecumseh; her father-in-law Richard Plager of Humboldt; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lade of Tecumseh and Susan Klanecky (Bryan) of Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (62971 NE-62, Humboldt, NE 68376).
