She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvil Lade and JoAnne Lade (Tucker); her husband Gene Plager; her granddaughter Kayla Anne Stevens; her brother David Lade; her brother-in-law Dan Sears; and her mother-in-law Vera Plager (Bohling).

She is survived by: her children, Lesley Slaymaker, Lisa Stevens (John) of Kearney, Joel Kerner of Lincoln and Russell Plager (Tiffany) of Wayne; her grandchildren, Kaleb, Brooklyn, Evan Slaymaker, Tyler Stevens, Thomas, Nolan, Jenna and Reid Plager; her siblings, Linda (Brad Meints) of Tecumseh, Steve (Mary Lade) of Tecumseh, Susie (Jim Hill) of Tecumseh, Sarah Sears of Tecumseh, Les Lade of Tecumseh, Ron (Shirley Lade) of Tecumseh, Bruce of Tecumseh and Christy Lade (Mitchell Howard) of Tecumseh; her father-in-law Richard Plager of Humboldt; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lade of Tecumseh and Susan Klanecky (Bryan) of Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
