She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald E. Garris and Norma "Bridge" Garris (Higgins); her sister Vicki Mandery; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Robertus, Margaret Reed, Leonard Robertus and Norman Reed.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Reed of Tecumseh; her children, Mark Reed of Tecumseh and Ann Britt (Brian) of Tecumseh; her granddaughters, Amelia Mae, Lila Kay, Nora Irene and Merida Grace Britt of Tecumseh; her siblings, David Garris (Pat) of Nebraska City, Jerry Garris (Arnette) of Lincoln, Tom Garris (Lori) of Raymond and Tim Garris (Tracy) of Joplin, MO; and her brother-in-law Dave Mandery of Tecumseh. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may go to the family's choice.
