She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Jackson and Lulu Jackson; her husband Bob; and her son R. Curtis Ray. She is survived by: her sons, Greg Ray (Deanna) and Richard Ray (Diane); and her daughter-in-law Kathy Ray. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and countless friends.
