Margery left this world on July 9, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her brother Bob Shumake; and her son-in-law Larry Paulson. She is survived by: her husband Jim Lawson; her children, LeaAnn Quist (Tom Gleason) of Sikeston Missouri, Laura Paulson of Omaha and Greg (Patti) of Tekamah; her brothers, Gerald Shumake (Marge) and Ray Shumake (Gloria) of Tekamah; her grandchildren, Chris Paulson (Casey), Nick Paulson (Cierra), Miranda Hansen (Mike), Alex Lawson and Rylee Lawson; and her great grandchildren, Mikayla, Paxton, Lynley Paulson, Myla Hansen, Kaison Paulson and Finnley Cornell.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (1408 L St, Tekamah, NE 68061).
