Arthur Remmereid Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Remmereid of Tilden, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Remmereid and Nellie Remmereid (Fulsaas); his wife Mildred Lorraine Hoefer; his daughters, Sharon Remmereid and Susan Galyen; and his siblings, Orvan, Noble Remmereid, Tillie Taake, Gerda Levos and Gladys Svoboda.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Lehman (Larry) of Norfolk and Steven Remmereid (Janice) of Tilden, Nebraska; his son-in-law Bob Galyen of Columbus, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Sarah McClanahan (Ross) of Kearney, Sheila Borcher (John) of Unadilla, Levi Remmereid (Josie) of Carroll, Ashley Lehman of Norfolk and Wyatt Lehman (Katie Becker) of Norfolk; and his great grandchildren, Reid, Seth, Bryce, Natalie, Jade, Ava and Zion.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home - Tilden (303 E 2nd St, Tilden, NE 68781). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (500 S Center St, Tilden, NE 68781).
