With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Brazda Sr. of Tilden, Nebraska, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Raymond leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Brazda and Mary Brazda (Rozgall); his son Ray, Jr.; and his siblings, Lloyd Brazda, Joe Brazda, Rita Schamp and Dolores Krueger.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn T. Olsufka of Tilden; his children, Kim of LaVista and Michelle of Tilden; and his daughter-in-law Tracy of Waterloo. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
