He was predeceased by: his parents, Malvin Decker and Marjorie Decker (Ritter); and his siblings, Marlene Trott (Robert) and David Decker. He is survived by: his wife Julie of Tilden; his son Bryon Decker (Jody); his grandchild Catie Harley (Conner); his great grandchild Emma Decker of Gretna; Brad Decker (Amy), Aaron, Kailey, Aubrey, Lindsey Decker of Lincoln, Larry Decker (Kathryn) of Minneapolis, MN, Elizabeth Turner (Brandon) and Andrew Decker (Grace).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Peace United Church of Christ in Tilden or to Nebraska Game and Parks.
