He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Marie Borges (Anderson) and Martin Borges; his wife Vi Borges; his daughter Theresa Shnoor; his daughter-in-law Dawn Borges; and his brother Charles "Chuck" Borges.
He is survived by: his children, Martin "Marty" Borges (Becky) of Grand Island, Cindy Borges of Trenton, Robert "Bob" Borges of Cambridge, Louis Borges II (Samantha) of Grand Island, Terry Schnoor of Grand Island, Twylla Robison (Jim) of Trenton, Tabetha "Taby" Borges of Trenton and Timothy "Tim" Schnoor of Trenton; and his grandchildren, Broges II, Eric Lucas, Carly Raker (Ray), Emily Borges, Hunter Borges, John Viox and Jacob Viox (Nicole). He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, a large extended family and countless friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God Starts.
