With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Kay Kemp of Tryon, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Black and Ila Black (Banks); her son Lamar James; her husband Richard Kemp; her sister Marilyn; and her granddaughter Rebecca Leanne Kemp.
She is survived by: her daughter Gaylene McCall (John) of North Platte; her brother Dale Black (Carol) of Ringgold; her grandchildren, Jessica Wilson (BJ) of North Platte, Jennifer Staab (Josh) of North Platte, Ben McCall (Alexa) of North Platte, James Kemp of North Platte and Christopher Kemp of North Platte; her great grandchildren, Hali, Levi, Carsen, Josie, Oakley, Axel, Hadlee, Hagen, Heston and Remyton; and her great great grandchildren, Waylon and Welder. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
