Though Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ocke O. Bunger and Martha S. Bunger (Johnson); her husband Merrill D. Gramke; her siblings, Lorrena Kersenbrock (Myron), Orval Bunger (Beulah) and Luella Frerichs; and her sister-in-law Dolores Soucie (Dwaine).
She is survived by: her children, Troy Merrill (Dotti) of Upland and Rhonda Johnson (Jon Morgan) of Kearney; and her granddaughters, Carrin Gramke and Carmin Gramke. She is also survived by nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended relatives and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craig Funeral Home (336 N Nebraska Ave, Minden, NE 68959). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (206 N Colorado Ave, Minden, NE 68959-1623).
