He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Calahan and Rosa Calahan (Deterding); his siblings, Scott and Lisa; his in-laws, Lee and Alice Campbell; and his brother-in-law Jonathan Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Campbell; his children, Katie (Jesse Millspaugh) of Lincoln, John (Autumn) of Ottumwa, Iowa, Rebecca (Godfrey Lim) of Lincoln and Emilee (Lee); his sister Vicki Williams (Robert) of Superior, Nebraska; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Meyer (Robert) of Simpsonville and Nancy Calahan of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (505 8th St, Carleton, NE 68326).
