He is survived by: his parents, Serena Clarkson (Carstens) of Norfolk and Donald Henry Sand (Sherri) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his friend Brian Koch; his daughter Patience Clarkson of Norfolk; his girlfriend Amanda Nye of Utica; his siblings, Faith Breaker of Kearney, Carissa Clarkson of Salina, Zach Redwing (Dakota) of Colby, Cole Clarkson (Laura) of Salina and Brittani Sivitak of Grand Island; and his grandparents, Marilyn Carstens of Norfolk, Sally Clarkson of Neligh and Francis Sand of Gregory. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
