He was predeceased by: his mother Docia Mae Johnson. He is survived by: his father John Edwin; his wife Joan; his stepchildren, Kenneth Nollett and Melinda (Yair Solan); his children, Dave (Lori Johnson), Bruce (Sharla Johnson), Brenda (Kerry Smyth) and Larry (late Barb Johnson); and his sister Thelma Rockwell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
