Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jerene Ann Vandewege (Valley, Nebraska), who passed away at the age of 70, on February 6, 2020. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Dietsch and Gertrude Dietsch; her brother Gary; and her sisters-in-law, Winnie Dietsch and Lois Dietsch.

She is survived by : her husband Avon Vandewege; her children, Jonathan Kathol (Jody) of Omaha, Jane Brannen (Troy) of Omaha and Ted Kathol (Alyssa) of Valley; her grandchildren, Baylor, Noelle Brannen, Lily and Amelia Kathol; her siblings, Robert Dietsch (MaryLou) of Omaha, Daniel Dietsch (Kathy) of Omaha, Jim Dietsch of Seward, Mary Kramer of Lincoln, Joan Cady (Skip) of St. Michael, MN and Carole Schulte (Lyle) of Fordyce; her stepchildren, Corey Vandewege (Shannon) of Lincoln, Mindy Rueschhoff (Matt) of Lincoln and Renny Vandewege (Katie) of Oklahoma City, OK; and also, Peggy Loos (Mike) of Lincoln and Dick Vandewege (Mimi) of Lubbock, TX.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to St. John's Catholic Church in Valley's "G.I.F.T.".
