He is survived by: his parents, Brad Ives and Donna Ives (McElhose) of St. John, Kansas; his wife Debbie Ives of Verdigre; his children, Tessa Braun (Zac) of Wayne, Stephenie Johnson (Brenden) of Bloomfield, Dillon Ives of Verdigre and Toby Ives (Madison) of Page; his grandchildren, Zayla, Brix Braun, Norman Johnson and Beau Ives; his siblings, Valarie Mawhirter (Randall) of Verdigre and Kirk Ives (Holly) of Clearwater, Kansas; his mother-in-law Pam Kotrous; and his siblings-in-law, Dana Konopasek (Marty), Diane Reiman of Verdigre and Darrell Kotrous of Verdigre. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
