He was predeceased by : his parents, Joesph Meinheit and R. Maxine Meinheit (Gebhard); his brother Mark; and his mother-in-law Naomi Spurgin. He is survived by : his wife Janny of Verdon; his children, Thad Meinheit (Ximena) of Kansas City, KS, Nick Meinheit (Krista) of Kansas City, Jarod Meinheit of North Platte, NE, David Marteney of Verdon and Heather Howell (Mike) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his siblings, Bill (Cathy) of Yuma, Mary Kathryn Deger (Stephan) of Fairbury, NE and LuAnn Moon of Kansas City. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
