She is survived by: her children, Sharilyn Steube of York, NE, Shelley Fritz (Stan) of Raymond, NE and Steven Brackhan (Dawn) of Waco, NE; her grandchildren, Don Ramsey Jr. (Jennifer Majerus) of Hampton, NE, Nicole Ramsey of York, Tommie Alderman (McKayla Verhage) of Fairmont, NE, Shaughnessy Byrd of Omaha, NE, Calen Storjohn (Wendy) of Seward, NE, Micah Storjohn (Justene) of Surprise, AZ and Tesia Wolfe (Jamison) of Valparaiso, NE; her great grandchildren, Liam, Liliana Storjohn, Dezmund, Dominik, Drahya Alderman, Isla Storjohn, Lexi, Jackson, Gracie Wolfe and Kaizen Ramsey; and her brothers, Duane Heiden (Gayle) of Lincoln and Rex Heiden (Nancy) of Waco.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (1011 Rd U, Waco, NE 68460).
Memorials may be directed to the Waco Fire Department or Orphan Grain Train.
