With sadness, we share the passing of Donald D. Syverson Jr. of Wahoo, Nebraska. Donald, born on April 26, 1955, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Donald Sr. Syverson; his grandparents, Morris, Edith Miller, Albert and Selma Syverson; his stepfather Richard Breunig; and his stepsister Jenay Breunig.
He is survived by: his mother Maureen "Reenie" Syverson (Miller); his friends, Colon and Weston; his sisters, Patti Korth (Don) and Jayne Banghart (Steve); his nieces and nephews, Bryan Banghart (Ashleigh), Amanda Banghart (Royce Fowler), Jason Korth, Ryan Korth (Laura) and Samuel Korth (Madalyn); and his stepbrothers, Jeff Breunig (Bonnie) and Craig Breunig (Susan). He is also survived by 10 great-nieces and nephews, many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Svoboda Funeral Home (211 N Linden St, Wahoo, NE 68066). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Wahoo Eagles Club (140 W 5th St, Wahoo, NE 68066).
