She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Blair and Dorothy Blair (Kuhlman); her sisters, Diane Ruzicka and Marilyn Blair; and her son-in-law Michael Douglas.

She is survived by: her husband Don Bern; her children, Jacy Douglas, Tim Bern (Nancy), Lynette Hraban (Mark) and Allyson Maly (Tim); her grandchildren, Jessica Novotny (James), Jennifer Erks (Aaron), Mitch Bern (Kristen), Andy Bern, Alex Bern (Erin), Mindy Wallace (Mike), Cole Hraban (Kari), Mackenzie Chapek (Nick), Madyson Breunig (Brandon), Seth Maly (Halle Heiss) and Bailey Maly (Logan Brabec); Barb Sukstorf. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, the Wahoo Rescue Squad, or to the family for later designation.
