She is survived by: her children, Jacob Nelson (Valerie) of Kyiv, Ukraine, Krista Nelson of Concord, NC, Jesse Nelson (Linda) of Concord, NC and Mercedes Nelson of Omaha, NE.; and her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Keira, Ariana and Jesenya. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers.
