He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin Swanson and Hildur Swanson (Hanson); his wife Bonnie Jean Swanson; his daughter Susan Lynne Swanson; his brothers, Warren Swanson and Dale Swanson; and his great grandchild Christian Andrew Swanson.
He is survived by : his children, Kenneth Swanson (Jean) and Barbara Witte (Jim); his grandchildren, Jason Swanson (Nicole), Kenneth Swanson, Andrew Swanson (Chastity), Angela Heckens (Brett) and Karen Roberg (Greg); his great grandchildren, Kaden Swanson, Addison Swanson, Macy Swanson, Samantha Swanson, Payton Swanson, Zackary Swanson, Kaleb Heckens, Karissa Miller (Cameron), Lindsey Sandall (Caleb) and Kailey Roberg; his brother Ben Swanson, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria, Dorothy Klink, Verna Swanson and Larry Swanson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
