He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert G. Nelson and Lilly Nelson (Buss); his daughter Kodi Nelson; his siblings, Lois Christman, Bonnie Frevert, Dale Nelson and Merle Nelson; and his grandson Kerre Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Janelle Nelson of Paul's Lutheran Church; and his children, Craig Nelson, Blaine Nelson (Donna) and Tiffany Foxx (Elmer). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
