It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Helzer of Wakefield, Nebraska, born in Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, John, Lois Helzer and Rex Preston. He is survived by : his father John Helzer; his wife Carissa Baum; his children, Destiny and Tristian of Wakefield, NE; his mother Kim Helzer (Preston) of Tekamah, NE; his brother Jeremy Helzer (Jasmine); his nieces and nephews, Bailey and Brandi; his grandmother Donna Preston of Lyons, NE; his parents-in-law, Dan and Deb Baum of Elgin, NE; his sister-in-law Ashley Bergman (Ryan); and his nieces and nephews, Braelyn, Makenna, Brantley and Huxton of Orchard, NE. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all state guidelines will be in effect and we ask for everyone in attendance to wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
