He was predeceased by : his parents, Gregor H. Liekhus and Margaret R. Liekhus (Wlaschin); and his mother-in-law Rose Nelson (Bloomfield). He is survived by : his former life partner Amelia Watson; his daughter Tiffany Nicole; his wife Eleanor Ruth Nelson; his children, Joseph, Emily Nelson (Willer), Loretta Nelson, Tiffany Hull (Matthew), Titus Nelson and Victoria Nelson; his grandchildren, Naomi, Aiden, Gideon, Reagan, Ellie and Lydia; his siblings, Paul Liekhus (Elaine) of Rising City, Regina Long of Norfolk, Daniel Liekhus of Omaha, Albert Liekhus (Mary Beth) of Minneapolis, MN, Carroll Liekhus (Tracy) of Erie, CO and Francis Liekhus (Nancy) of Oak Harbor, WA; and his father-in-law John Nelson of Emerson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
