He is survived by: his mother Dolores A. VanBoening (Hastings) of North Platte; his grandchildren, Jacob, Austin, Andrew, Emma, Derik, Joey, Brinley, Hudson and Harper May; his wife Lea Rumery of Wallace; his daughters, Jennifer, Joni Kennicutt (Michael) of Wallace and Sandy Pohl (Quinton) of Minden; his brother Steve VanBoening (Betty) of North Platte; his sister-in-law Shelly Leigh (Larry) of Longmont, CO; and his pet Pepper. He is also survived by nieces, a nephew, and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bullock-Long Funeral Home (409 Warren Ave, Grant, NE 69140). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Memorials are suggested to the Wallace Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department and Bethany Home of Minden in Stuart's memory.
