She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence; and her brothers, Dick and Bob Mockelman. She is survived by: her children, Barb Kahlandt and Wayne of Waterloo, NE; her daughter-in-law Melinda Kahlandt of Waterloo, NE; her grandchildren, Ben Kahlandt (Erin) of Waterloo, NE, Dr. Emily Kahlandt of Omaha and Nick Kahlandt of Omaha; her great grandchildren, Baylor and Benson Kahlandt; her sister-in-law Margaret Andrews of Albion, NE; and her namesake Kahlan Mouse of Tahlequah, OK. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reichmuth Funeral Home - Omaha (21901 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (115 W Meigs St, Valley, NE 68064).
