It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Peters of Wausa, Nebraska, who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Monson and Elvera Monson (Eckman); her husband Albur Peters; and her siblings, Warren and Beverly Elsberry.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry (Amy) and Murray Peters; her grandchildren, Joseph (Sheryl), Andrew (Danielle Dunn) and Rachel Crook (Steven); her great grandchildren, Nora Kate and Benjamin Albur Peters; and her sister-in-law Patti Monson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers Florence requested that memorials be given in her name to Golgotha Lutheran Church of Wausa or to Mission Central (40755 Co Hwy E16, Mapleton, IA 51034) for the support of missionaries of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
