With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Claussen of Wausa, Nebraska, who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl T. Cox and Dorothy Cox (Melander); her husband Robert Claussen; and her parents-in-law, John and Adele Claussen.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Dawson (Tim) of Wausa, Steve Claussen (Jill) of Wausa and Susie Brunckhorst (Kent) of Seward, NE; her grandchildren, Christopher Dawson of Doniphan, NE, Andrew Dawson (Carrie) of Wausa, Anthony Claussen of Magnet, Tiffany Nohr (Matt) of Crofton, Laura Hauger (LaVerne) of Wausa and Marcus Claussen (Cameron) of Crofton; her brother Thomas Cox of Colorado; and her in-laws, Dianne Fleming (Eldon) of Norfolk, Velda Long of Norfolk, Doug Claussen (Karen) of Wausa and Joanne Claussen of Norfolk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for later designation.
