He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Raymond Boyer and Alta Boyer (Spader); and his brothers, Ray, Rodney and Dan.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his pet Bailey; his children, Monte Boyer (Sarah) of Wayne, Chad Boyer (Brooke) of Pilger and Jennifer Schuett of Ainsworth; his sister LuAnn Thacker (Terry); and his grandchildren, Marcus, Morgan Osborn, Ellie, Delaney Boyer, Kelsey and Ashtyn Boyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Memorials are suggested to the family in Roger's name to be used for scholarships for future educators.
