He was predeceased by: his son David Lee; his brothers, Eldon and Bill; his brother-in-law Richard Gable; his nephews, Doug and Darin Gable; and his parents-in-law, Pete and Irene Lee.
He is survived by: his sons, James Roger (Rachel) of Eagle, NE and John Jason (Mary) of Waverly, NE; his wife Sue; his daughter Kathy; his daughter-in-law Suzette of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Brad (Sam), Brice (Liza), Brandon (Jennifer), Braeden (Jackie), Danielle, Maranda, Genevieve (Walker), Holden, Jason, Cody, Logan Lee (Ty), Wade, Alex (Dan) and Meg; his sisters, Carolyn Gable and Nancy Kroese; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Kroese and Roger Lee. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Covenant Church (18841 N 98th St, Waverly, NE 68462).
