He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Leroy and Phyllis Elaine Bruflat (Ramynke); and his nephew T. J. Bruflat. He is survived by: his wife Madge Jongeling; his children, Emily Bruflat (Nathan Koster) and Ben Bruflat; his brothers, Mark (Rhonda), Paul (Julie) and John (Allison); and his uncles, Richard Bruflat (Donna) and Vinton Bruflat (Leah).
