She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Harder and Verna Harder; her husband Pat; her siblings, Carroll Harder (Maureen), Dennis Harder, Ron Harder (Janice), Arlene Blohm (Richard), Shirley Book (Bruce) and Sharon Harder; and her siblings-in-law, Randy Novak, Bruce Book, Janice Harder, Maureen Harder, Clem Casey, Don Casey, Bernice Boeshart (Earl) and Mildred Pokett (Jim).

She is survived by: her son Gene (Janet); her grandchildren, Lana Chapman (Ryan), Lisa Bockelman (Blaine), Casey Brentlinger, Maggie Dale, David Dale and Bo Bockelman; and her siblings, Judy Novak of Sioux City, IA and Duane Harder of Laurel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church.
