She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Glen "Ted" and Erma Ruth Young (Hamm); her husband Art; her parents-in-law, Charles and Ida Barker (Hohneke); her siblings, Dorothy Hale (Walter), Dona Iddings, Bill Young and Pat Young; her granddaughter Dayna LaRaye Witt; and her son-in-law Kirk Sommerfeld.
She is survived by: her children, Erma Johnson (Craig) of Bridgeport, Pat Ourada (Dale Larson) of Funk, Ardie Sommerfeld of Wakefield, Roy Barker (Tammy) of Blair and Kelly Witt (Duane) of Wayne; her sister Janice Brockman of Norfolk; and her siblings-in-law, Mina Young of Laurel and Jim Iddings of Sioux City, IA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
