Gerald D. Meyer Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald D. Meyer of Wayne, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Gerald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gerald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bilger Meyer and Anna Meyer (Lubberstedt); his wife Lois M. Denker of John's Lutheran Church; his son Merlin; and his brother Dennis Meyer.

He is survived by: his daughter Lori Meyer (Kenneth Meyer) of Wayne, NE; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Kelsie and Pete. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
