With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerry L. Hurlbert of Wayne, Nebraska, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, LaVern Hurlbert and Mernie Hurlbert (Vanderbilt); his nephew Dion Palen; and his in-laws, Louis and Lorraine Moritz.

He is survived by : his wife Cindy of Wayne; his daughters, Kristen Wehrer (Jason) of Axtell and Kimberly Bruns (Chad) of Wayne; his grandchildren, Jacob Wehrer, Kassidy Wehrer of Axtell, Karlee Woehler, BreAnna Bruns, Jaycee Bruns and Brystol Bruns of Wayne; and his siblings, Karen Palen (Larry) of Bismark, ND and Terry Hurlbert (Paula) of Omaha.

Memorials may be directed to the Hurlbert family for later designation.
