It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herman John Luschen of Wayne, Nebraska, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Henry and Alma Anna Magdalena Luschen (Burmeister); his wife Helen; and his sisters, Frieda Jorgensen (Gordon), Mable Tietgen (Wayne) and Alma Geewe (Hans).

He is survived by : his children, Sandra Gathje (Rick) of Wayne, Don Luschen (Anita) of Wayne, Mary Burt (Rex) of Wayne and Carolyn Fraas (Cory) of Denton; and his sister-in-law Mary Friedrich of Plainview. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
