It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth G. Hallgren (Wayne, Nebraska), born in Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Hallgren and Kathleen Hallgren (Schroeder); his brother-in-law Leon Nelson; his great-nephew Hunter Hallgren; and his great-niece Alyshia Samuelson.

He is survived by : his siblings, Keith Hallgren (Carol) of Newman Grove, Dean Hallgren (Paula) of Gretna and DeAnn Nelson of Newman Grove. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

I share his enthusiasm for antiques, horses, and gardening. We had conversations from time to time around those topics. Kenn connected with many students and community members through his hobbies.
