He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Echtenkamp and Mary Echtenkamp (Knecht); and his niece Sue Jensen (Koch). He is survived by: his wife Judith Fay Korth; his grandson Kirk; his children, Paige, Kash, Pieper and Tyson Evenson; his grandchildren, Kadee, Konrad and Turner; his son Kevin (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Bailey and Whitney; his child Kelley (Kris); his grandchildren, Megan and William; his child Keila Olson (Doug); his grandchildren, Kaleb, Kolby and Kalin; his sister Faye Koch (Don) of Sioux City, Iowa; his sister-in-law Mylet Nicholson of Wakefield; and his nieces, Cindy Haley and Kim Larson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (57885 860th Rd, Wakefield, NE 68784). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
