It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lee Swinney of Wayne, Nebraska, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Ila Jean; his sister Pauline Craig; and his granddaughter Sonya. He is survived by : his children, Cynthia Jean and Gregory Dale; his sister Rachel Carlile of Glenwood, Iowa; his children, Stacy Swinney (Gerry) of Chadron, Nebraska, Cindy Eckel (Whitey) of Merriam, Kansas and Greg Swinney (Laurie) of Kearney, Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Jennifer (Joey), Randy (Casey), Ryan (Ashley), Beth (Matt) and Nathan (Emily).

Memorials are suggested to the Greenwood Cemetery or The Swinney Memorial Scholarship Fund of Hope International University.
