He was predeceased by : his parents, Gustaf Adolph Johanson and Mary Gladys Johanson (Trafton); his granddaughter Karlee; his siblings, Lawrence Johanson, Donald Johanson and Joyce Kehrberg; and his great great grandchild Angel.
He is survived by : his wife Betty Thies; and his children, Pamela Joan Smith (Mike), Karen Sue Clark (Lee), Dr. Cameron Thies and Kellie Ann Plonkey (Erik). He is also survived by three grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Lyle's family for later designation.
