She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph and Ethel Elizabeth Finegan (Matz); her parents-in-law, Frank and Eileen Melena (Foy); her husband John Melena; her sisters, Marilyn "Joanie" Preston, Lois Dvorak and Pat Cunningham; and her sister-in-law Joan Pfeifer.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Hypse (Don) of Wayne, John Melena (Steph) of Milford, Pat Melena (Julie) of Wayne, Bill Melena of Wayne and Molly Schroeder (Casey) of Wayne; her grandchildren, Amy Kelly (Shane), Dan Melena (Lauren), Courtney Barnes (Walker) and Hailey Schroeder; her great grandchildren, Delaney Kelly, Braelyn Kelly, Rudy Kelly, Baker Melena, Kallie Melena and Baylor Barnes; her sisters, Mary Emanuel of North Bend and Kathi Emanuel of Omaha; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Cioni (John) of Springfield, MO, Pat Langhorst of Liberty, MO and Richard Dvorak of Stuart.
