He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilmer Griess and Elizabeth Griess (Haberman); and his sister Judith Griess. He is survived by : his wife Jean Wagner of Wayne; his children, Timothy Griess, Kevin Griess and Katherine (Robert Scott); his grandchildren, Emma of Lexington and William of Lexington; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Bernstein and Kenn Wagner (Mona) of Oconto, Nebraska..
