She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Alexander and Bernice Tennant (Turner); her former husband Willie Bethune; her siblings, Evelyn Lambert, Ike Tennant and Ed Tennant; and her son-in-law Russ Engelbart.
She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, Theresa Poppe (Bradley) of Wayne, Tina Engelbart (Tom Higginbotham) of Norfolk, Steven Bethune of Wayne and Christopher Glassmeyer (Jodi) of Phoenix, AZ.; her grandchildren, Rob Dishman (Breanne), Samantha Flood, Megan Arehart, Whitney Roberts (John), Jarrett Engelbart, Austin Bethune, Michaela Madison and Heather La Marca; her great grandchildren, Devin, Braden, Olivia, Jude, Shayd, Aria and Marcella; her brother Charles Tennant (Millie) of Waukee, IA; and her sister-in-law Vonnie Bethune of Norfolk. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Journey Christian Church (1110 E 7th St, Wayne, NE 68787). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
