He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Coster and Hazel Coster (Vest). He is survived by : his siblings, Marylou Baker, Anna Minium and Charlie Coster (Jimmy Coster); his wife Linda Coster; his children, Scott Coster, Cheri Coster (Chris Livinghouse), Lonnie Coster (Stephanie) and Iola Wolf (Merrill); his grandchildren, Jessie, Brandis, Emma and Elizabeth (Tyler); and his siblings, Opal Thoms and Robert Coster Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Nebraska, and/or United Methodist Church Weeping Water.
