Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ambrose Hugo of West Point, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 91, on September 12, 2022. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph George (J. G.) and Margaret Hugo (Hiltz); and his siblings, Paul Hugo, Aelred Hugo, Matthias Hugo, Florence Schnur, Jeannette Polzer and Julianna Wordekemper.

He is survived by : his wife Nora; his children, Duane Hugo (Mary), Nancy Cady (Chris), Jolene Schack (Andy) and Keith Hugo (Linda); his grandchildren, Stacy Sveen (Dan), Jessica Howell (Nick), Mark Hugo (Kate), Abbey Hugo, Eric Schack, Steven Schack, Andrew Schack, Thomas Hugo and Cynthia Siedschlag (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Braxton Sveen, Beckham Sveen, Blake Sveen, Wesley Howell and Adelynn Howell; and his brother Matt.

The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Mary's Church, GACC Endowment, or the West Point Community Theatre.
