It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sellentin of West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Sellentin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Tietz and Gertrude Tietz (Kurz); her husband Ed; her siblings, Kathleen Kirbach (Heinz), Cynthia Wegner (Vernon), Robert Tietz and Bill Tietz; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Fredericksen (Leroy) and Carol Johnson (Donald); her parents-in-law, Casper and Caroline Sellentin; and her nieces, Kathy Fredericksen Miller and Carrie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Lerch (Jody), Jeff and Russ Sellentin (Rhonda); and her brother-in-law Ray Sellentin (Janet). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stokely Funeral Home (121 E Park St, West Point, NE 68788). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (104 S Colfax St, West Point, NE 68788).
